A very warm welcome to the Pinvin First School website.
All we do and learn at Pinvin is underpinned by our school vision that ‘Together, we Inspire, Discover and Achieve’, and as a Church of England School we seek to demonstrate six core values in our work and play: Peace; Wisdom; Dignity; Joy; Hope and Community.
The sense of community can be felt throughout our school. We are a happy and vibrant school where children work cooperatively, are enthusiastic about their learning and are motivated to achieve their hopes for the future and fulfil their aspirations of possibility.
Our provisions are shaped by a deep understanding of the needs of our pupils. It is a continuing endeavour for all our dedicated staff to know our pupils well; we firmly believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum - where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured. The team strive to be the very best and a culture of high expectations and a consistent demand for excellence ensures that all children experience success and reach for their potential.
Through our engaging curriculum we ensure children build resilience for life and challenge them to ‘think for themselves’. We foster a love of learning and a curiosity about the changing world around us that will help prepare every child to make positive contributions to modern society.
At Pinvin C of E First school we strongly value the relationship we have with our parents, stakeholders and members of the community. We recognise that effective partnerships are essential in ensuring that we do the very best for our pupils; we appreciate and value the support our parents and stakeholders give us and the role they play in enriching our children's experiences and supporting the education we provide.
I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities. Please feel free to contact school with any questions or queries you might have or to book a visit to see our school in action.
We look forward to welcoming you to Pinvin.
